1st Britwell Scout Group

Britwell beavers recently attended the District Sleepover and visited Activity Land in Milton Keynes.

Whilst there they were able to drive small cars around a track, dig for dinosaur bones, play in an adventure playground, try rock climbing and play in an outdoor playground.

A total of 10 Britwell beavers attended earning 9 of them their first "Nights Away" badge.

All beavers were well behaved at the event and praised by other groups leaders for their good manners and behaviour.

The scouts have just returned from their summer camp.
Held at the Alfrey Activity Centre Broadwater, they were able to do a few onsite activities starting straight away on the first night with Archery.

With a medieval theme for their camp the scouts had to hunt a dragon on their hike, sit down to a medieval banquet, climb the tower to rescue the damsel, design their crest on a 3' sheild and battle each other by "jousting" over a "lake".

And to break up the week they got to go to the National Sealife centre and Alton Towers.
