Third Upton Cubs at the District Sixers and Seconders Camp Oct 2009
Third Upton Sixers & Seconders had a great time at the camp. The weather was great and the Cubs worked extremely hard over the weekend and had lots of fun.
They cooked their breakfast and dinner on open fires, they gained their Hikes away Stage 1 and their Emergency Aid stage 1 badges, they also took part in pioneering and enjoyed a wide game in the dark with torches.
They helped put up and take down all tentage.
Well done to everybody, it was a great weekend!
Third Upton Beavers had a fantastic time at the District Beaver Sleepover.
They went to Activity Land by coach and took part in the large soft play area, drove cars, dug for dinosaur eggs, searched for gold, drove large go-karts, went on a bouncy castle and did rock climing.
After Dinner they had an indoor camp fire and then had a wide game outside.
It was then time for bed!
