Every leader / Adult in the District has played a part in this success and id like to Thank them for all their efforts.
I’d like a special mention to my Team Mark Ashworth DDC , Bill Pretty ADESC , Mark Foster ADC Development, Tim Haggett ADC scouts , Kirsty Aldridge ADC cubs , Jo Halls-Phillips ADC Beavers. they have had some key challenges over the last year but have ensured these challenges have been turned into opportunities. And their positive attitude and their forward planning will make next year even more exciting.
Thanks Team you are all doing a Sterling Job you can be proud of your efforts.
I’d like you to take a moment at some point to reflect on the passing of an extraordinary Gentleman and a fellow scouter and Friend Glynn Shefford, He may have done his scouting in Windsor (every one makes mistakes) but he crossed the boundaries on many occasions to support Slough’s Gang shows, you would have seen him at the back on a sound deck.
Glynn will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
