Slough Beavers Sleep over 2008
Slough District Beavers held a very successful sleepover this weekend and
the weather was great!
The Beavers took part in the following activities during the day on
Saturday:- The Astronomy Road Show, Mustard and Cress potatoe men, Junk
modelling, Twisters, Scavenger hunt, Space Collage and they made fruit
kebabs and cocktails
After all the activites were completed the Beavers enjoyed sausages, chips
and baked beans. They then ate their fruit kebabs with squirty cream. It was
then time to say good bye to the day Beavers while the Beavers sleeping over
played non stop rounders.
We then sorted out beds and had a wide game in the dark with torches - great
fun!
It was then time for supper and bed - 36 hot chocolates please!
Sunday morning soon arrived and it was time to have breakfast and pack up
ready to go home
All the Beavers had a great time and went home very happy
A big thank you to all Leaders who helped and supported the camp. Thank you
to Bruce and Chris for driving the trailer. Many thanks to Jo ADC Beavers
for organising the sleepover. The Beavers are already asking when the next
one is!
