SLOUGH Cubs District Quiz
On 10th March 2008 5 packs from across slough district were represented by 3 cubs each, an 8, 9 and 10 year old. They took part in a variety of challenges including, crisp tastin, feeling items in bags and placing the correct tent labels on a chart, as well as testing their minds in a quiz with spelling, maths, general knowledge and scouting questions.
It was a very close run contest with only1 1/2 point separating the top 3 teams.
1st Brit well were crowned the winners (again for the 3rd year running), with 1st Langley in 2nd, 1st Slough 3rd, 3rd Upton 4th and 1st Cippenham in 5th place. Well done to all who took part, you did your packs proud and good luck to 1st Britwell a they represent Slough district at the county quiz in April.
