Come and join us for the biggest year in Scouting. The 2007 Centenary celebrations
May 12th, 9am - 5pm Slough Town Centre
February 24th 9am-5pm Slough Town Centre
Back to the Town square again. This time we will be accompanied by Sloughs Hospital Radio Wexham. It will be a day of fun, music and entertainment for all.
We may even raise some money too! Why not join us and spread the word.
Come and join us as we promote what Slough Scouting is all about. We will have activities for all together with information about all groups in the district.

May 25th to 27th District Centenary Camp at Longridge
Across the UK this weekend Scouts will be holding their big celebration camps. The weekend will be full of activities designed to offer something for ‘every’ section. Don’t miss out on what promises to be the biggest district event for several years
Scouting is supporting red nose day 2007. Each group or section will be doing their own thing. Speak to your section leader to get involved and find out what exciting plans they have in store.
August 1st from 7.45am Scoutings Sunrise. Upton Court Park
Scoutings official centenary, Scoutings sunrise. All who are or have ever been involved in scouting are invited to join us for breakfast. Following breakfast and our large promise renewal there will be a range of activities to keep people entertained.
Also in August... Slough Museum
We have secured a 2 week slot for a display covering the history and highlights of scouting in Slough. Call in the museum and find out more about the history of our association.
We want to grow Slough Scouting in 2007. So why not bring a friend to one of your Weekly meetings and earn the bring a friend badge in the process

The Challenge
September 23rd
Berks County are organizing a day event at Wellington Country Park. It’s a family picnic day out. Details on Berkshire web site.
November 17th Its party time!!!!
Every section will get their own special part of our non-stop rolling party. The Beavers will start proceedings followed section by section with their own theme. This will be an event not to be missed Find out more from your section leader during 2007.
Also throughout 2007 Theres the centenary badge selection to achieve. By attending the events and doing that little bit extra every member can achieve this celebratory set of 4 badges.
